1. The power supply voltage connected to the double jacketed glass reactor must be higher than the total power of the whole machine according to regulations.

2. When the double jacketed glass reactor is idling, the speed should not be too fast.

Proper use of double jacketed glass reactor

1. First, check whether the power supply voltage is consistent with the voltage required on the machine nameplate.

2. Slowly feed the material into the kettle through the feeding port.

3. Set the set speed and start the stirring motor.

4. According to the needs of the reaction, open the supporting vacuum device.

5. According to the needs of the reaction, turn on the matching heating or refrigeration cycle device to meet the temperature control requirements.

6. After the reaction is completed, turn off the heating or cooling function according to the actual situation, and turn off the circulation device when the temperature of the material in the kettle is close to room temperature.

Note: After the temperature-controlled product circulation device is closed, the valve in the circulation pipeline cannot be closed; in order to avoid the glass parts being broken due to thermal expansion and contraction of the liquid.

7. Close the vacuum device.

8. Set the speed to the minimum value and stop stirring.

9. Turn off the power of the controller.

10. Discharge from the discharge port of the discharge valve. After discharging, please remove the discharge valve in time and clean it carefully.

11. Reinstall the discharge valve.

Proper cleaning of double jacketed glass reactor

When cleaning the double jacketed glass reactor body, it is not only time-consuming and labor-intensive, but also not suitable for cleaning.

For instruments with high cleanliness requirements, potassium dichromate lotion can be used to soak and rinse with water, but potassium dichromate is easy to turn green and will pollute the environment. You can also prepare some industrial ethanol, which can be used for drying sodium wire and as laundry detergent. In addition, you can mix an appropriate amount of washing powder water, add some sodium hydroxide, soak the double jacketed glass reactor in the lotion, and then heat it for a while to release the dirty water in the double jacketed glass reactor. Just rinse with water.

When using a double jacketed glass reactor, be sure to close the valve of the refrigerant inlet pipe, drain the residual refrigerant in the reactor and the interlayer, then add the test material, and turn on the agitator. When the desired temperature is reached, first turn off the steam valve and the electric power supply, and then turn off the agitator. After processing, drain the remaining condensed water in the kettle body and the jacket, rinse with warm water, brush off the material, then clean the inner wall of the container with 40-50°C alkaline water, and clean it with clean water.

Chemical cleaning: cleaning with chemical solvents that react with the dirt. This method has obvious effects, but the disadvantage is that the operation is complicated. It is necessary to clarify the components of the dirt on the equipment, and then sample it for analysis, do experiments, and then pass a certain amount of time. Detergent, see if it will react with the equipment, etc., and then go further. If the dosage can be well grasped, the cleaning time will be short and the cleaning effect will be high.

1. The power supply must be cut off before inspection and maintenance to avoid electric shock or fire.

2. After each use, gently wipe off the dirt on the surface of the machine with a soft cloth to keep it dry and clean.

3. It is recommended to loosen each interface regularly to avoid damage caused by long-term locking of the connecting parts.

4. After use, wait for the machine to stop before turning off the switch.

5. It is forbidden to tighten the PTFE switch with excessive force to prevent damage to the glass. After use, loosen the PTFE switch properly to relax it.

6. Regularly clean the sealing ring. Take off the sealing ring, wipe off all the dirt with a soft cloth, reset the sealing ring, and keep the shaft and the sealing ring lubricated.

7. The electrical part must not enter the water, and it is strictly forbidden to be damp.
