Glass Reactor Structure:

Single and jacketed glass reactors are mainly composed of four parts: glass part, stirring part, sealing part, and support bracket part. Since the single-layer glass reactor itself has a heating system, the single-layer glass reactor has heating and cooling parts. . Below I will describe the functions of each component in detail.

Glass Reactor Structure

Glass Part:

(1) Single-layer kettle body: The container for the reaction materials is made of high borosilicate glass, which is resistant to high temperature and acid and alkali, and is the best container for chemical acid experiments;

(2) Constant pressure dropping funnel: it is the liquid feeding device of the double-layer kettle, which provides liquid feeding for the material during the reaction process, and can also meet the continuous dropping function of the material during the reaction process;

(3) Distillation elbow: it is used with a condenser, which can be used for reflux and extraction;

(4) Serpentine condenser: reflux and distillation for condensed material evaporation;

(5) Thermometer casing: set up to measure the temperature of the material in the kettle, and place the material corrosion probe;

(6) Air inlet and outlet valve: provide air release function for vacuum distillation experiments, and can also be used for extraction and feeding during experiments;

(7) Lower discharge valve: divided into two types: PTFE and glass, used for sealing during the material reaction process and collecting and discharging after the reaction;

(8) Hollow plug: located at the top of the constant pressure dropping funnel, used for feeding and sealing the constant pressure dropping funnel;

(9) Air extraction elbow: located at the top of the serpentine condenser, it is used for vacuuming in vacuum distillation experiments.

Stirring Part:

(1) PTFE stirring blade: It is divided into anchor type and paddle type, which have the stirring function, and are connected with the stirring motor through the stainless steel stirring rod wrapped in PTFE, which can fully stir and mix materials;

(2) Deceleration stirring motor: it is a stirring power device, which is controlled by a frequency converter and can pass through the motor's deceleration device to achieve the effect of stirring and mixing materials with high viscosity;

(3) Frequency conversion speed regulator: it is the control device of the mixing system, which can adjust the effective speed of the motor to meet the speed requirements required by customers;

(4) Stainless steel universal joint buckle: located between the stirring motor and the stirring rod, used to connect the motor and the stirring rod, within a certain deviation range, to ensure the normal operation of the motor and the stirring rod.

Sealing Part:

(1) Mechanical seal: located in the polytetrafluoroethylene stirring plug at the stirring port of the kettle cover, to ensure the sealing of the stirring rod during the stirring and rotating process;

(2) Anti-rust bearing: located in the polytetrafluoroethylene stirring plug at the stirring port of the kettle cover to ensure that the stirring rod will not have too much friction with the polytetrafluoroethylene stirring plug during the stirring and rotating process;

Support Bracket Part:

(1) Stainless steel floor frame: the plate frame is made of 304 material, supporting the whole kettle body; more than 10 liters are supported by the heating device, which protects the single-layer kettle body;

(2) Brake casters: located at the four corners of the heating device, made of rubber, wear-resistant, and fix the equipment.

Heating and Cooling Part:

Intelligent temperature control heating tank, intelligent constant temperature electric heating mantle, cooling circulation coil

The heating methods of the single-layer kettle are divided into three types: water bath, oil bath, and electric heating jacket, which are equipped according to customer requirements. The temperature control method is intelligent digital display temperature control with high temperature control accuracy;

The cooling method of the single-layer kettle is to circulate the cold medium through the cooling coil on the inner wall of the heating tank, and then transfer it to the material in the kettle after cold exchange with the heating medium. Generally, it can only be used for forced cooling of the material, and it is an optional accessory.

How to Use the 50l Jacketed Glass Reactor:

1. Before the experiment, a simulation plan should be drawn up, and the experiment should be carried out step by step according to the plan.

2. Before the experiment, the sealing test of the equipment should be carried out, and the program test should be carried out after confirming that it is correct.

3. When adding materials, add the sample slowly.

4. Pay attention to the reaction state of the material during the experiment. Emergency measures should be taken when necessary.

5. When shutting down, first turn off the vacuum source and low-temperature heat source, and then turn off the power.

6. Release the vacuum to restore the equipment to normal pressure.

7. Release experimental materials by species.

8. Clean the equipment for the next use.

20l Single Layer Glass Reactor Features:

1. The materials used in the glass reactor have excellent material and chemical properties. In the mixing process of frequency conversion speed regulation, the operation will be relatively stable, even if the torque is large, there will be no sparks.

2. In addition, the module is sealed with tetrafluoroethylene, which can maintain a good vacuum degree among similar products in the market, and maintain high-precision sealing under working conditions. There is also a debris collection box.

3. Alloy steel mechanical seal, PTFE joint, high-precision seal under working conditions.

4. High-precision sensor probe, high temperature measurement accuracy, small error, and effectively improve work efficiency.

5. Teflon unloading valve has a movable interface for quick unloading.

6. After the reaction is completed, the cooling or heating solution in the interlayer of the glass reactor can be discharged.

7. The overall stainless steel column mobile frame structure, five reactor covers, and a full set of glass are used for reflux, liquid addition, temperature measurement, etc.

8. Large torque and no noise. Adopt Japanese technology AC gear reduction motor.

9. The double PTFE stirring paddle of the glass reactor is suitable for stirring and mixing low to high viscosity liquids.

20L Jacketed Glass Reactor Features:

1. It is sealed with PTFE material and special rubber composite sealing ring, which can resist various solvents and maintain high vacuum, which is very convenient to use.

2. Condenser to ensure high recovery rate.

The single-jacketed glass reactor can complete high temperature, low temperature, and vacuum reaction experiments at the same time. It is an ideal test and production equipment for modern synthetic chemicals, biopharmaceuticals, and new material preparation.

The jacketed glass reactor is designed with double-layer glass, and the inner layer contains the reaction solvent, which can be used for stirring reaction. The interlayer of the glass reactor can be connected with different cold and heat sources (refrigerated liquid, water or hot oil) for cyclic heating or cooling reaction. The jacketed glass reactor is in a sealed glass reactor at a set constant temperature. In terms of difference, the body of the jacketed glass reactor is divided into two layers, and the middle part between the outer layer and the inner layer is called the interlayer. The heating of the jacketed glass reactor is done through the interlayer. Through the interlayer, the jacketed glass reactor can not only complete high-temperature experiments, but also complete low-temperature reactions. The single-layer glass reactor has its own heating device and does not need to use the interlayer to complete the heating.

3. Glass instruments should avoid impact during transportation, disassembly, cleaning and use. After unpacking, first check whether there is any damage. If found, contact the relevant department immediately to find out the cause and negotiate a remedy. Due to the fault of sales, storage, transportation, assembly, and users, the loss caused by product defects shall not be liable for compensation.

4. For precious solutions, a simulated process experiment should be done first, and the equipment can be transferred to normal use after confirming that the equipment can meet the process requirements.

5. When evaporating flammable, explosive and toxic solutions, users must take corresponding safety protection measures and abide by relevant safety operating procedures.

6. Prevent electrical parts from water leakage.

7. When installing the conduit (rubber) on the glass parts, the rotating assembly method should be adopted, and the pushing method is prohibited to damage the glass parts.
