Working Principle of Lenticular Filter Housing:
Lenticular filter housing is to configure multiple filter elements in a closed container. The filter element is covered with a special filter cloth selected according to the characteristics of the material and liquid. When the liquid passes through the filter cloth, the solid matter in the liquid will gradually accumulate on the surface of the filter cloth. When these solid substances reach a certain thickness, a so-called "filter cake layer" is formed. Because the gaps between the "filter cake layer" particles are very small, the escape of particles and impurities in the liquid is blocked, so that the filtrate becomes clear and achieves an ideal filtration effect. When the "filter cake layer" exceeds a certain thickness, the rate at which the filtrate passes through the filter cake layer decreases, and the filtration efficiency becomes poor. At this time, it is necessary to remove the "filter cake layer", and then build a new "filter cake layer" to start a new cycle Wheel filter cycle.

How Does Lenticular Filter Housing Work?
Lenticular filter housing is also known as surface filtration. It uses fabric, porous material or membrane etc. as filter medium. The pore size of the filter media does not have to be smaller than the particle size of the small particles. At the beginning of filtration, some small particles can enter or even pass through the small pores of the medium, but soon the bridging effect of the particles reduces the pore size of the medium to form an effective barrier. After filtration, the particles trapped on the surface of the medium form a filter residue layer called filter cake, and the purified filtrate passes through the filter cake layer. With the formation of the filter cake, it is the filter cake itself that really acts as a filter medium, so it is called filter cake filtration. Filter cake filtration is mainly suitable for occasions with large solid content (>1%).
1. Liquid Filling
Open the "liquid inlet valve" and start the "material pump", the liquid is injected into the lenticular filter housing cavity, and at the same time the "exhaust valve" at the top of the lenticular filter housing is automatically opened to discharge the air in the lenticular filter housing cavity.
2. Construction of Filter Cake Layer
When the lenticular filter housing cavity is filled with liquid, the "exhaust valve" is automatically closed, and the "circulation valve" is automatically opened. The liquid in the raw material tank is injected into the lenticular filter housing through the "inlet valve", and the material is discharged from the "circulation valve". Tank, circulation filtration begins, and the filter cake layer on the filter element is gradually produced and thickened.
3. Filter
When the filter cake layer reaches a certain thickness, the filtrate becomes clear. When the filtrate meets the quality requirements through automatic detection or sampling inspection, the "circulation valve" is automatically closed, the "clean liquid valve" is automatically opened, and the formal filtration begins, and the filtered liquid is discharged to the "clear liquid tank"
4. Drainage
When the flow rate of the "clear liquid flow meter" is less than a certain value, it means that the lenticular filter housing needs slag cleaning. First, the "positive intake valve" is automatically opened, and the "liquid intake valve" is automatically closed to filter out the liquid remaining in the lenticular filter housing cavity. When all the liquid in the lenticular filter housing cavity at the same height as the filter element is filtered out, open the "drain valve", so that the residual liquid that cannot be filtered out from the lower part of the lenticular filter housing cavity is discharged into the raw material tank through the "drain valve". When the process requirements do not allow the residual liquid to return to the "raw material tank", the "drain valve" is not opened, but the "residual liquid pump" is started, and the residual liquid is pumped to the "residual liquid spray port" and sprayed into the lenticular filter Housing, the compressed gas charged from the "positive air intake valve" will filter out the sprayed residual liquid to the "clean liquid tank". When the "residual liquid flowmeter" detects that there is no residual liquid in the chamber, the residual liquid filtering system is automatically closed and the draining work is completed.
5. Dry
When all the liquid in the lenticular filter housing cavity is discharged, close the "drain valve", fill the compressed gas from the "positive intake valve", open the "cleaning valve" or "circulation valve", and discharge the compressed body. Through the filter element Compressed air makes the filter cake dry quickly.
6. Cake Off
When the filter cake is dry, close the "positive air intake valve", "clear liquid valve" or "circulation valve", open the "back blow valve" to fill in compressed air, the filter bag expands, the filter cake falls off, and then close the "back blow valve". ", open the back blowing and deflation valve" to exhaust, and the filter bag retracts. This process is repeated several times, and the filter cloth on the filter element expands and contracts repeatedly, causing the filter cake to fall off quickly.
7. Slagging
After the "exhaust valve" is opened to discharge the gas, the "slag discharge valve" is opened, and the shed filter cake residue is discharged from the lenticular filter housing. When the slag discharge valve is blocked or the slag discharge is not smooth, open the "auxiliary slag discharge valve" and fill in compressed air to promote slag discharge.
8. Cleaning
After slag discharge, the "slag discharge valve" and "auxiliary slag discharge valve" are closed, the "cleaning valve" is opened to inject cleaning liquid, and the "drainage valve" is opened to discharge the cleaning liquid. The filter cloth restores the filtering effect under the repeated washing of the cleaning solution.
